SocialBee vs Later: the short answer

Later Starter is the cheaper entry plan: $25 a month, billed monthly, for 8 profiles and up to 30 posts per profile. SocialBee Bootstrap is $29 a month, billed monthly, for 5 social profiles. Both prices are as read on 7 October 2026.

Pick Later Starter if 30 posts per profile is enough. Pick SocialBee to recycle evergreen posts by category, which Later's pricing page does not list. On monthly billing the order flips one step up: SocialBee Accelerate is $49 a month against $50 for Later Growth, and both include approvals.

Price on monthly and yearly billing

Later charges $25 for Starter, $50 for Growth and $110 for Scale a month, billed monthly. On yearly billing it prints $18.75, $37.50 and $82.50 a month, billed yearly, and no yearly total.

SocialBee charges $29, $49 and $99 a month, billed monthly. On annual billing Bootstrap is $24.2 a month, billed annually ($290 a year), Accelerate $40.8 ($490 a year) and Pro $82.5 ($990 a year).

On yearly billing Later stays lower at both steps: Starter at $18.75 a month against Bootstrap at $24.2 a month, billed annually ($290 a year), and Growth at $37.50 against Accelerate at $40.8 ($490 a year). SocialBee pricing has all six SocialBee plans.

Profiles, users and post limits

Later Starter includes 1 social set, which Later counts as 8 profiles in total, with 1 user and up to 30 posts per profile. Growth includes 2 sets (16 profiles), 2 users and up to 180 posts per profile. On monthly billing, extra sets are $15 a month and extra users $5 a month on Growth.

SocialBee Bootstrap, Accelerate and Pro connect 5, 10 and 25 social profiles. SocialBee limits posts per category, not per profile: 1,000 on Bootstrap and 5,000 on Accelerate and Pro, so the two limits count different things.

Approvals and recycling

Later says its Growth plan includes internal and external collaboration and approvals, and its Starter plan does not. SocialBee's post approval system starts on Accelerate, although role approval rights are unclear in the help center, so check which roles can approve during the trial.

Evergreen recycling is on every SocialBee plan: its pricing grid lists recycle content, and its help center describes evergreen categories that start again after the last post. Later's pricing page lists no evergreen recycling.

Trials and free plans

Later's pricing page says it is free for 14 days, the same length as SocialBee's free Pro trial. Later's page lists no free plan, and SocialBee sells none.
