Post to multiple social media platforms at once: the 4 steps
To post to multiple social media platforms at once, connect your accounts to one social media scheduler, write the post once, pick the profiles and set one time. SocialBee's help center notes that the networks have no built-in way to publish everywhere at once, so without a scheduler you post by hand in each app.
- Connect each account to one scheduler.
- Write the post once, then adjust it for each network.
- Know which networks need a person to finish the post.
- Check what published before you post again.
SocialBee's Bootstrap plan, $29 a month billed monthly, connects 5 social profiles and publishes one post directly to Facebook Pages, LinkedIn company pages and professional Instagram accounts. That price is as read on 7 October 2026; best social media scheduling software for small business sets it beside five other schedulers.

Try SocialBee free for 14 days →Step 1: connect each account to one scheduler
A social profile is each account you connect from a network, and SocialBee caps the number by plan. SocialBee's help center names the role each network asks for:
- Facebook Page: an Admin role on the Page.
- LinkedIn Company Page: the Super Admin role.
- Google Business Profile location: Primary Owner, Owner or Manager.
- Instagram: a professional (Business or Creator) account for direct posting.
Most networks make you reauthorize a profile every few months, and a red Reconnect button can then appear on the dashboard.
Step 2: write once, then adjust for each network
In SocialBee, click Create post, add the caption and media first, then tick several accounts in the left sidebar. Turn on Customize each to tailor hashtags, links and mentions per network; all versions stay under one post, with a live preview for each network.
Instagram does not publish a text-only post, and a Pinterest pin needs a board and a source URL. Set the status to approved, because a draft waits. One post has one schedule across its profiles, so a different time means a separate post. SocialBee documents its new Post Editor as a beta, so button names can differ.
Step 3: know which networks need a reminder
Pages, professional accounts and LinkedIn personal profiles publish directly; Facebook Groups and personal Facebook and Instagram profiles need a person at a phone.
SocialBee's help center says Meta ended its Facebook Groups API on April 22, 2024, so a Group post goes through Universal Posting, SocialBee's way to schedule posts for networks it cannot publish to directly: a reminder reaches the SocialBee mobile app and a person creates the post in the group by hand. SocialBee Facebook Pages and Groups covers the difference.
Personal Facebook profiles, personal Instagram profiles, and WhatsApp, Telegram, Mastodon and Quora work the same way. You choose who gets the reminders in settings, and that person needs the app with push notifications on. A Page post that exceeds SocialBee's limits or uses an unsupported format also switches to a reminder. SocialBee's help pages disagree on whether X posts directly or by reminder, so check X during the trial.
Step 4: check what published before you post again
In SocialBee, open the Failed posts tab under View Your Next Posts, and turn on the email alert for failed posts in Settings. A post reported as failed can still have published, so check the network before posting it again: a second attempt can create a duplicate. SocialBee's changelog says posts scheduled during an outage are not published afterward, so check those too.
Schedulers that post to several networks for a small business
Buffer's free plan connects up to 3 channels, enough for a business that posts to three networks. Someone who posts only to Instagram and Facebook can use Meta's own sharing from Accounts Center, though Instagram's help says it works only in the Instagram app on a phone. SocialBee's free 14-day trial runs on the Pro plan, so profiles can be connected and a first post scheduled before paying; its pricing FAQ says posting stops automatically once the trial expires.
